“What a great Christmas present!” Those are the words that American Liver Foundation
supporter and liver disease survivor Winn Stephenson uses to describe his
lifesaving liver transplant that took place on December 22, 2010.
Winn’s life
altering journey began in 1985. He was at the top of his game and it
seemed as though nothing could stop him. Then, the results from a routine
physical indicated his liver levels were off the charts. Blindsided. The unexpected had happened and thus began Winn’s battle with liver
disease. Watch the video above to hear Winn’s story in his own words.
After you
watch the video, join Winn in supporting the American Liver Foundation this
holiday season by making a gift to support crucial funding for research,
education and patient services. Together, we can make a difference, we
can impact lives and that is something for which to be thankful.
