A letter from the 2013 RFR Team Co-Chairs
The Run for Research® marathon team wants you back … with or without your sneakers!
The strength and continued success of the Run for Research (RFR) team throughout the past twenty-four years can be credited to each of your contributions to the American Liver Foundation’s Run for Research team. By developing the Boston Marathon’s first ever charity team in 1988, Bobby Banks went where no individual had gone before. And because of each of you Bobby’s vision has transformed from a one year program raising just over $5,000 to a nearly twenty-five year program that has cumulatively raised $15 million.
Does taking part in the 25th year celebration mean you have to run the marathon? If you want to! There will also be many opportunities to get involved if you don't want to lace up your sneakers again. The 2013 season will be your opportunity to reunite with some of your old teammates and reflect on the accomplishments this team has made over these past 25 years. Our goal in 2013 is to involve as many team alumni as possible in
