Meet Issac - the 2014 National Liver Life Walk LIVEr Champion. On April 17, 2011 Isaac was admitted to the Phoenix Chidlren's Hospital due to yellowing of the eyes. He was then flown to the University Medical Center in Tucson. Isaac had contracted an unknown virus that was killing his liver. He was showing signs of brain swelling, slurred speech, diminished coordination, and uncontrollable screaming. He had to be placed in a medically induced coma. Issac's transplant took place on May 8th, 2011 (Mother's Day). Isaac came home just 14 days after his transplant. Read more about Isaac's incredible story!
