  1. Yes!  We welcome athletes of all levels of experience and ability.

I'm ready to join the team. How do I register for the Liver Life Challenge?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/challenge.
  2. Select your event location.
  3. Click “Register”.
  4. Fill out the registration form.
  5. Welcome to the team!


Fundraising
 

What is the fundraising commitment for Liver Life Challenge events?

  1. Each event has a different fundraising commitment but with all of our teams offer professional fundraising support along with resources to help you reach and surpass your goal. 
  2. Contact your LLC event manger for more details.

How do I sponsor a participant online?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/challenge.
  2. Select the event location where the individual is participating.
  3. Click the “Sponsor a Participant” button.
  4. Type in the participant’s name and click “Search”.
  5. Select the participant’s name from the list.
  6. You will be taken to the participant’s personal page.  Click the button that says “Click here to Sponsor Me”.
  7. Enter in your information and complete the donation process.

Where can I find resources to raise money off-line?

  1. Login to the Participant Center.
  2. At the bottom of the page, you will find a number of links to useful tools that will help you in your fundraising efforts.

 

Training

What type of training support will I receive for my event?

  1. Each team offers a variety of training support including group practice and local resources. 
  2. Contact your LLC event manager for more information.  

 

Participant Center

How do I login to my Participant Center?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/challenge.
  2. Click the log-in button.
  3. Type in your username and password (You can request your username and password if you have forgotten it).

How do I personalize my web page?

  1. Login to your personal Participant Center.
  2. Click on the “Personal Page” icon.
  3. Click “Click here to open personal page for editing”.
  4. You can upload a photo, edit the text that appears on your personal page, change the style and layout of your Web page, etc.
  5. Be sure to click “Save my changes” at the top of the page when you are finished.

How can I view my progress?

  1. Login to your Participant Center.
  2. Click on the “My Progress” icon.
  3. You will see your donations in the Gift History box. 


How do I add contacts to my Address Book?

  1. Login to your Participant Center.
  2. Click the “Address Book” icon.
  3. If you would like to import your contacts from Outlook or another source, please click “Import Contacts,” select the source you are uploading from and follow the directions.
  4. If you are adding your contacts in yourself, please click “Add Contacts,” enter the required information and click “Save or Save and Continue Adding”.


How do I send e-mails out to my family/friends?

  1. Login to the Participant Center.
  2. Click the “E-mail” icon.
  3. Select the e-mail message you want to send out or create your own message.
  4. Add your recipients from your address book.
  5. Click “Send”.


How do I send a Thank You to my sponsor?

  1. Login to the Participant Center.
  2. Click the “Follow-ups” icon.
  3. Select the names that you would like to send a thank you to.
  4. Click “Send Thank You to Selected” or “Send Thank You to All”.
  5. Select the message you would like to send or create your own message.
  6. Click “Send”.


How do I update my personal fund-raising goal?

  1. Login to the Participant Center.
  2. In the middle of the page, on the right side you can update your personal fund-raising goal.
  3. Enter your new goal and click “Update Fundraising Goal”.


How do I enter an offline donation?

  1. All gifts not made on-line should be sent directly to the local chapter office. 
  2. Once received the event coordinator will add the money to your total and the gift will be reflected on your confirmed gifts list and thermometer.


How do I make my personal page public?

  1. Login to your Participant Center.
  2. Click the link located in the middle right hand side that says “Click here to make my campaign PUBLIC.”  (You can make it Private, too.).
