Registration

How do I start a team and register as a team captain?
  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Select your event location
  3. Click “Start Your Team”
  4. Fill out the registration form
How do I register as a walker on an existing team?
  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Select your event location
  3. Select “Join A Team”
  4. Type in the team name or click “Search for a Team” (a list of all team names will come up for that event)
  5. Click “Join” next to the correct team name
  6. Complete the registration form
How do I register as an individual walker, not on a team?
  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Select your event location
  3. Click “Register as an Individual”
  4. Fill out the registration form

Making a Donation

How do I make a donation to a registered walker online?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click the “Donate to a Walker” button
  3. Type in the participant’s name and click “Find a Walker”
  4. Select the participant’s name from the list
  5. You will be taken to the Walkers personal page.  Click the button that says “Click here to Sponsor Me”
  6. Enter your information and complete the donation process
  7. Print the receipt that is generated following your gift, as this is the only receipt that will be given for gifts of less than $250

**Please Note: All donations must be made to an individual Walker.  Gifts can not be made to a team.**

How do I add an off-line gift (check/cash) to my personal page thermometer

  1. All off-line donations should be sent to your local chapter office
  2. Once received the staff will enter the gift into the system and the amount will show on your personal page thermometer

Participant Center

How do I login to my Participant Center?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password (You can request your username and password if you have forgotten it)
  4. If you are registered for multiple ALF events, you will be prompted to select the Participant Center you wish to access.

How do I personalize my Web page?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click “Click here to open personal page for editing”
  5. You can upload a photo, edit the text that appears on your personal page, change the style and layout of your Web page, etc.
  6. Be sure to click “Save my changes” at the top of the page when you are finished

How can I view my progress?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click on the “My Progress” icon
  5. You will see your donations in the Gift History box. 

**Please Note:  Offline (cash/check) donations should be sent to your local office to be added to your total and appear in your Gift History**

How do I add contacts to my Address Book?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click on the “Log-in” Button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click the “Address Book” icon
  5. If you would like to import your contacts from Outlook or another source, please click “Import Contacts,” select the source you are uploading from and follow the directions
  6. If you are adding your contacts in yourself, please click “Add Contacts,” enter the required information manually and click “Save or Save and Continue Adding”

How do I send e-mails out to my family/friends?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click on the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click the “E-mail” icon
  5. Select the e-mail message you want to send out or create your own message
  6. Add your recipients from your address book
  7. Click “Send”

**Please Note:  Some e-mail service providers detect these messages as Spam and may not be delivered to the recipient. **

How do I send a Thank You to my sponsor?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click on the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click the “Follow-ups” icon
  5. Select the names that you would like to send a thank you to
  6. Click “Send Thank You to Selected” or “Send Thank You to All”
  7. Select the message you would like to send or create your own message
  8. Click “Send”

How do I update my personal fund-raising goal?

  1. Go to www.liverofundation.org/walk
  2. Click on the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. In the middle of the page, on the right-hand side you can update your personal fund-raising goal
  5. Enter your new goal and click “Update Fundraising Goal”

**Please Note: The average walker raises about $150.**

How do I make my personal page private?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click on the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click the link located in the middle right hand side that says “Click here to make my campaign PRIVATE.”  ( You can make it Public again if you wish)

** Please Note: By making a page PRIVATE donors will not be able to search for your personal page from the “Donate to a Walker” button.  The page will only be accessible by providing your page’s URL to a donor.**

Team Management (Team Captains ONLY)

How can I see who is on my team?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click on the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click the “Team Progress” icon
  5. You can view your team roster and the amounts raised by each team member

How can I update my team name, team division, or team goal?

  1. Go to www.liverfoundation.org/walk
  2. Click on the “Log-in” button
  3. Type in your username and password to access the Participant Center
  4. Click the “Team Progress” icon
  5. On the Team Progress Page, team captains will have the ability to update the team name and goal

How do I change from individual to team participation?
Please contact your local walk coordinator to make this change.
