Who: Run for Research team family members, friends, patient matches and their families, and anyone else who has supported the American Liver Foundation throughout the years.
What: A cheering section for friends and family to watch their runners.
Where: Directly in front of the Newton-Wellesley Hospital on Washington Street (Rte. 16) at mile 16.8 of the Marathon course. Parking can be found at the Hospital’s West Entrance and in the six-story garage located at the East Entrance. (Plan on at least $5 - $8 for parking).
When: Monday, April 21, 2014 - we recommend getting there before 10AM. The earlier the better. Central Street (Rte. 135) and Washington Street (Rte. 16) will close Monday from approximately 8:45AM to 2:30PM.

Directions via car:
From 128, take Route 9 East. Immediately after merging onto Route 9 East, take the first road bearing to the right. Take second left under Route 9 onto Chestnut Street. Follow Chestnut Street to Beacon Street. Turn left onto Beacon. Take the second Dorset Road entrance on the right. If you take the first by mistake, follow it around until you come to the Hospital entrance. Follow Dorset Road for approximately ½ mile. The dirt road to the Hospital is on the left. Walk towards the front of the hospital and look for the sea of orange!
Directions via MBTA:
Take Green Riverside line (D Train), outbound to Woodland stop. Walk out to Washington Street and turn left. The Liver Cheering Section is two short blocks (.2 miles) on the left.
