Join the 2010 RFR Marathon TeamRun for Research® (RFR) is a running team that wins every time. Coordinated by the New England Chapter of the American Liver Foundation, the team promotes awareness of liver disease and raises money to fund critical liver research. By collecting contributions from friends, family, colleagues and others, RFR runners earn the privilege to compete in the world's most prestigious running event, the Boston Marathon®. The 2010 Run for Research team is now open for Applications.Please click here to submit an application. We will continue to accept applications for qualified runners or runners who have obtained an official marathon entry from another source. Visit our Qualified Runners Page for more information. 2010 Program TimetableThe 114th Boston Marathon takes place on Monday, April 19, 2010. After you submit your online application, you will be notified of the status of your application within two weeks. If we cannot accept you to the team immediately you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if a space becomes available. The official 18-week training program, including team meetings, group runs and other events, begins in late fall and continues through race day.
