Fundraising Honor Roll

Dear family and friends,

As you all know, I am interning with the American Liver Foundation (ALF) in San Francisco, CA. During my time here, I would like to climb the 2nd largest volcano in the United States, Mt. Shasta, as a particpant in the ALF's Liver Life Challenge. The Liver Life Challenge is an endurance sport training program that helps people like me train for a climb while supporting the mission of the ALF. Not only will this be an experience that will always remind me of my time here in the US, but more importantly, I will be able to contribute to the greater fight against liver disease.

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will bring me closer to achieving my goals of climbing Mt. Shasta and raising funds for the ALF's many community-based education, research, support, and advocacy programs to help prevent and treat liver disease.

Together we can make a difference, and it's as simple as helping me reach my fundraising goal.

Donating is easy! Just click the "Sponsor Me" button to get started.

To show you the importance of the ALF's mission, here are a few interesting facts:

  • Liver cancer is one of the few primary cancers on the rise in the United States.
  • Approximately 5.4 million Americans are chronically infected with hepatitis B or hepatitis C. About 65% and 75% , respectively, are unaware that they are infected.
  • 1 in 10 APIs in the SF Bay Area have chronic hepatitis B.

Thank you for your time and support!

Minji Choi
