Welcome to my Liver Life Challenge Page!
Cleveland Marathon, 2012

In 2012, I ran my second marathon in Walt Disney World with the Cleveland Liver Life Challenge team. I am honored to be apart of the first LLC team for the 2014 Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon! However, due to another commitment on race weekend, I will be running the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 4th. I am very still excited to be a part of the Cleveland team, participate in team events, and raise money for the American Liver Foundation. As I begin training for my seventh full marathon, I am once again planning fun ways to help achieve my LLC fundraising goal as well as crush my personal race goal.
Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a diference in the lives of more than 30 million Americans living with liver disease.
Did you know:
- Liver cancer is one of the few primary cancers on the rise in the United States.
- Approximately 5.4 million Americans are chronically infected with hepatitis B or hepatitis C. About 65% and 75% , respectively, are unaware that they are infected.
- It is estimated that up to 25% of the U.S. population could have Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease--a condition that can lead to life-threatening damage.
By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the Foundation provide community-based education, research, support, and advocacy related to help prevent and treat liver disease. Together we can make a difference and it's as simple as helping me reach my fundraising goal.
Donating is easy! Just click the "Donate" button to get started.
