Dear Family and Friends,
As a participant in the Liver Life Challenge TD 5 Burough Bike Tour, I'm helping to move forward the fight against liver disease and I need your help!
I am participating in the Liver Life Challenge to honor my love for Gerard, and to support Liver Disease Education and Awareness.
It is important to be knowledgeable about Liver Disease and its symptoms as it is a disease that sneaks up on you. More often than not, one does not know how terribly sick he or she is until end-stage complications occur. Had we recognized the symptoms of End Stage Liver Disease and had been aware of the severity of Gerard's illness years earlier, it is possible that we could have done something to save him from the terrible pain and suffering that he endured. Education and awareness are key to understanding, and living with ESLD.
By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the Foundation provide community-based education, research, support, and advocacy in order to help prevent and treat liver disease. Together we can make a difference and it's as simple as helping me reach my fundraising goal.
Donating is easy! Just click the "Donate" button to get started.
Thank you so much for your continued love and support.
Thank you for supporting the TD Five Boro Bike Tour on May 4, 2014!
The Liver Life Challenge is a celebration of my commitment to a world free of liver disease. Please help me make that goal a reality! I support the American Liver Foundation® because it:
