I am a proud to say I'm the Event Coordinator for the Heartland Division of the American Liver Foundation.  I started with the American LIver Foundation in November, and the first event I was involved in was the Liver Life Challenge in Disney, January 9th - 12th.  As a staff member, the experience was so motivating and unforgetable.  At the first team dinner in Disney we had the chance to hear from one of our LIVEr Champions, after her speach I knew I wanted to be a member of the Liver Life Challenge for the Cleveland Rite Aid Marathon.

Since I am not a distance runner I knew the Liver Life Challenge training program would be perfect to help me train for a race while supporting the mission of the American Liver Foundation. I'll be training to run my first 10k race with my team this year, and raising funds for the 30 million Americans affected by liver disease.

I will be working hard to train and raise funds for a cause I truly beileve in. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping me to provide community-based education, research, support, and advocacy related to help prevent and treat liver disease in Cleveland. Together we can make a difference and it's as simple as helping me reach my fundraising goal.

Donating is easy! Just click the "Donate" button to get started. Thank you for your support!

Thank you for supporting the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon on May 17-18, 2014!

The Liver Life Challenge is a celebration of my commitment to a world free of liver disease. Please help me make that goal a reality! I support the American Liver Foundation® because it:

  • Advocates on behalf of 30 million Americans with liver disease on the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Provides education programs, support services, and outreach activities that reach more than 200,000 individuals annually and raise awareness on liver disease prevention and management.
  • Is the largest non-governmental supporter of liver disease research in the U.S. and since 1979, the American Liver Foundation Research Awards Program has provided more than $24 million to more than 750 qualified scientists and physicians.
