My name is Katie Hughes and I am running the Chicago Marathon (Whoop Whoop)! My motto for this race is...
"I'm on the RIGHT side of CRAZY!"
I have ran a handful of half marathons over the past couple of years. I have always wanted to successfully complete a FULL, YES FULL 26.2 miles (again..Right side of Crazy)! I was given this great opportunity to run for the ALF through a family member Jeannine Love.
My cousin Aric Hughes Hiser lost his fight to liver disease in October of 2012. For those of you who knew Aric, you can agree he had a passion for music, art and love (Jeannine Love to be specific)! I am honored to be running this race for my cousin Aric and helping support the ALF which is close to the Hughes and Hiser families heart.
Please help me raise money that will go to the American Liver Foundation in fighting Liver Disease!! Any donation is appreciated and a BIG THANK YOU in advance. If you can't donate, donate your positive vibes into helping me get through my training :) ..
Hope to see you on the sidelines on Sunday, October 12th!
...and remember it's FUN to be on the RIGHT side of CRAZY!
Thank you for supporting the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 12, 2014!
The Liver Life Challenge is a celebration of my commitment to a world free of liver disease. Please help me make that goal a reality! I support the American Liver Foundation® because it:
