Walk for Fun?Walk for Life!
Since Oct 2002, I have been on a personal mission to help the American Liver Foundation in the fight against liver disease by speaking at schools, hospitals, churches or at Town Hall ,on Education, Advocacy & Support. Its not about me, as I received The GIFT OF LIFE IN 2002 but rather those that wait on a list because of the lack of Organs available. Whether it is a newborn that needs an Organ from birth or a teen or an adult that has an Organ fails, The Gift of Life is second to none.
My Gift of Life has allowed me to see my 3 kids grow up, attend my oldest daughter's wedding & now I'm a Grandpa with twins girls, my second oldest opened her own business & became a remarkable young women(staying by my side for 46 days in the hospital) & my son developed into a H.S. teacher & was my right hand when I was recovering from my transplant & car accident.
As I surpassed my 10 year anniversary last October, I was blessed with making contact with my Donor Mom. It was a WONDERFUL occasion allowing me to find out about Scott my donor.
But now I need your help & support. By Walking with me & my Team, making a Donation or Wishing me the best of luck while taking me one step closer to my goal and take all of us, a stride closer to a world free of liver disease!
Your generous gift will help the American Liver Foundation provide research, education, and advocacy to assist the 30 million people affected by liver disease in the United States.
