I am on a personal mission to help the American Liver Foundation in the fight against liver disease and I need your help.

Our daughter, Brooke was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia at 6 weeks old. Biliary Atresia is a rare condition in newborn infants in which the common bile duct between the liver and the small intestine is blocked or absent. The cause of the condition is unknown. At 7 weeks of age Brooke had the Kasai procedure performed to remove the damaged bile duct and replace it with a part of her small intestine to gain bile flow. This procedure is not a cure and many children with biliary atresia end up requiring liver transplantation at some point in their life. Brooke is a happy and fun loving 7 year old.

Last year team Brooke's Posse raised $4,700 for the ALF. By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal of $1,500 and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!

DONATING is easy! Just click the "SPONSOR ME" link.
