Walk for Fun! Walk for Life!
In April 2009 I was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) liver cancer. On December 10, 2009 I received a liver transplant at the NY Presbyterian Medical Center for Liver Disease. This gift was and remains a blessing for which I will be eternally grateful. It is another life in one lifetime.
In 2009 there were more than 109,000 people waiting for transplants in the United States. Of the 3800 plus liver transplants that were performed in 2009, I received one.
Therefore, I've committed a part of my life to helping the American Liver Foundation in the fight against liver disease and I need your help.
By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!
Your generous gift will help the American Liver Foundation provide research, education, and advocacy to assist the 30 million people affected by liver disease in the United States. Today there are more than 15,900 people waiting for a liver transplant.
Donating is easy! Just click the blue -Click Here to Sponsor Me- button to get started.
