As a participant in the Liver Life Walk, I'm helping to move forward the fight against liver disease and I need your help!  I'm walking this Saturday, so if you want to sponsor me, now is the time!

I'm walking with the San Francisco Hepatititis C Task Force, of which I'm cochair.  As most of you know, I had hepatitis C, like the 1 out of 30 people my age.  Fortunately I found out with a simple blood test at a routine medical appt., but I had to ask for the test.  Now it is recommended by the CDC that everyone born between 1945 and 1965 get a one-time Hepatitis C antibody test, regardless of risk factors.  If your physician doesn't suggest it, ask for it and educate your doctor!  The treatment now is very effective and this disease is curable.  I'm cured and it is so worth it!

More on my story and the meditation CD I co-authored at

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of the 30 million Americans living with liver disease. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Liver Foundation provide community-based education and prevention programs, protect the rights of people with liver disease, and fund critical research.

By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!

Donating is easy! Just click the "Sponsor Me" button to get started!
