As a survivor of liver disease, I am excited to be participating in my 2nd Annual Liver Life Walk as one of the LIVEr Life Champions on September 29th in Stamford, CT!  I'm helping with the fight against liver disease and I need your help to spread the word and raise funds!

After surviving my miraculous transplant last year, the battling continued as I survived many complications including seizures and two major, extremely risky brain surgeries. Even though I was severly weak and immunosuppressed from my transplant, I fought hard with every ounce of my soul and defying all of the odds, I am here, alive, and doing more fantastic than ever!  I have vowed to make my new lease on life extroadinary and epic, and  I have found there is no better feeling than giving to others or supporting a good cause.

I participated in the Liver Life Walk last year just a few short months after my transplant and brain surgeries,  and it was one of the best days of my life!  I felt so happy to be alive and enjoying the beautiful day with other liver diseases survivors.

I have the most icredible friends and family and without their unconditional love and support I would not have had the strength, courage, and focus to make my recovery possible.  My medical team at Yale was unbelievable, and thankfully I am here because of their impressive work, but without proper funding for research, medical advances can't be made, so that is one reason why I support this cause.  Most importantly, I hope you can help me support it to!  My goal is to beat out all of the other teams in fundraising, so I definitely could use all of your help!

I hope you can be there to walk with us and wear our t-shirts on September 29th in Stamford, CT! Whether you can attend or are just there in spirit, you can still make a donation to our team "Just Say Mo" on my personal fundraising page.  Donating is easy! Just click the "Sponsor Me" button to get started!  (If you have any questions please feel free to email me at mo.gesualdi@gmail.com)

Thank you for your support and please tell your friends and family, everyone is welcome!

Much love,

Mo Gesualdi
