As many of you know, my good friend, Sam passed away earlier this year. God called him into his Heavenly Home on January 2nd, 2013 at the very young age of 29. Sam left behind his beloved wife, Amy, of who he loved for 14 years. Sam was a healthy individual before all of this, that loved playing soccer, watching anything that had to do with the Wisconsin Badgers, and hanging out with the guys! Both Sam and Amy stood up in my wedding in April 2011 and Sam was also a best friend to my husband, Kurt. Amy is one of my best friends, and I will do anything I can to help her during this very hard time in her life.

I have signed up to be a participant in this run and need your help. All money that is donated will go to helping research for liver disease. My prayers and hopes that through all of this it will help Amy on a day-to-day basis so show the love that we all have for her, and the support that she needs now and the days to come.
