As a participant in the Liver Life Walk, I'm helping to move forward the fight against liver disease and I need your help!

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of the 30 million Americans living with liver disease. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Liver Foundation provide community-based education and prevention programs, protect the rights of people with liver disease, and fund critical research.

By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!

Donating is easy! Just click the "Sponsor Me" button to get started!

I am a post tranplant person . I thoght I was healthy for my age I thoght that I would not ever get sick " No Not Me  " I was fat I did not exercise at all I ate all the wrong stuff most days I would do breakfast lunch and dinner at fast foods . then the week of my first melt down and I knew I was sick I crawled to the car went to the hospital . It still did not set in that I was facing death . I was hospitalized for a couple weeks and that is when the FEAR set in . I did not want to die . I decided right then because of fear to change my lifestyle . The doctors told me that my only options were a transplant . I was told all the facts that go with end stage liver dieses the facts that go along with transplant . I felt in my mind that that not for me I'm going to turn this around "I"m going to be the one " .  It has happen before it is posible . So with the fear of dying and the clock is ticking .I read everything I could I tryed eating certain types of vitamins and herbs and what ever I could to help my situation . I found that in eating healthy and juiceing I started making big changes in my weight and health . I adde a workout rountine and even more results . But the dieses was making bigger progress in detroying my body and organs . I become sicker and sicker over the months . I had times where I had in my heart that I was not going to make it that things were not going to work out for me . I would hit my rock bottom in my feelings . Then out of fear I would get angry and then put up a huge fight and feed off of that to try and beat down the dieses effects on me . It would work for me for awhile but the time came were my liver had stop working and making all the other organs start turning off . But the drive was still in me I was going home tomarrow . While I was fighting in the hospital I had an army of people out there praying for me . I received the phone call of my life I was so stunned I was going to make it . I ahd the best team in the world working on me
