Liver Life Walk Houston 2013

TCH Leapin' Livers

Welcome to the Texas Children's Hospital- Leapin' Livers,  Liver Life Walk Team Page!
On April 27th, 2013 at Terry Hershey Park (http://terryhersheypark.org/) we will be walking to support the American Liver Foundation.  We would LOVE for you, your friends and family, to join our team.
As one of the leading pediatric liver centers in the country, the physicians and staff at Texas Children's Hospital Liver Center at Baylor College of Medicine are committed to improving the lives of children with liver disease. Last year Texas Children's performed the most pediatric liver transplants in the country!  With your support the TCH Leapin' Liver Team won the traveling trophy for the hospital team raising the most funds.
Please help our team reach its goal of raising $5,000 by making a tax deductible contribution to ALF! Whether you can give one dollar on one million dollars, donated funds will help fund life-saving research. This also includes educational and advocacy programs for the millions of Americans, adults and children alike, afflicted with one of 100 different types of liver disease. To join our team, select the "Join Team" link at the top of the list of team members. Then follow the instructions to register for the event as part of our Liver Life Walk team!
To make a donation to our team, locate a team member from the list below and click her or her name to visit their Personal Fundraising Webpage. Once there, select the "Sponsor Me" button and follow the instructions to make a donation.

Thank you for supporting the Liver Life Walk Houston 2013 on April 27, 2013!

The Liver Life Walk is a celebration of my commitment to a world free of liver disease. Please help me make that goal a reality! I support the American Liver Foundation® because it:

  • Advocates on behalf of 30 million Americans with liver disease on the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Provides education programs, support services, and outreach activities that reach more than 200,000 individuals annually and raise awareness on liver disease prevention and management.
  • Is the largest non-governmental supporter of liver disease research in the U.S. and since 1979, the American Liver Foundation Research Awards Program has provided more than $24 million to more than 750 qualified scientists and physicians.
