Fundraising Honor Roll

For the past few years, my sister and I have participated in helping  the Liver Foundation raise money for awareness of Liver Diseases.

I am excited to be participating in memory of my father, Thomas Raymond O'Banion Jr, in the Liver Life Walk of Houston.  My Dad past away battling cirrhosis of the liver almost SEVEN YEARS AGO, February 25, 2007. He had been fighting Hepatitis C for many years.

2012 marked 5 years since my father's passing, and I want to thank everyone who joined our 2012 team and donated.  It was a big success!  I can't wait for 2014 to be even bigger.  This year, I really want to focus on growing with ALF and our community!!!  I hope to educate a lot of people how important your Liver is to you! PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS PROCESS!!!! If you wish to walk with our team this April, please sign up, it's free.  However, any donation you can raise helps us get that much closer to a cure.  The walk is also kid and dog friendly.

There are over 5 million Americans chronically infected with Hepatitis C. Currently, Hepatitis C causes 8,000 to 10,000 deaths each year, and accounts for almost half of the liver transplantations that are performed each year. Within 20 years, the Hepatitis C epidemic is expected to cause more deaths annually than AIDS. The O'Banion Team is raising funds to help with Cirrhosis, Hepatitis C, and all other liver conditions. Please make a donation to support my participation in the Houston Liver Life Walk and advance the American Liver Foundation.

If you have any other questions on education or the many other diseases that affect the Liver please visit the ALF website.

Thank you so much for your donations and your help,

Stephanie O'Banion
