A little background:

My son Aidan was stricken with acute liver failure 6 and 1/2 Years ago, just a few days after his 1st birthday. Within 1 and 1/2 days he received a Live Donor Liver transplant thanks to my brother. Aidan's transplant was the 1st emergency live liver donor at the Cleveland Clinic. Today, Aidan is doing well. The first 18 months were hard but he is managing to emerge from this with great strength. He is growing in mind, body (height and weight) and in spirit. He continues to amaze me every day!

Please help me raise money for liver awareness
Please help me raise money for the Liver Walk. I want to raise awareness about Liver disease and how it can affect anyone at anytime. I am doing this for Aidan and I am doing this for my brother Jeff who saved Aidan by donating the ultimate gift - a portion of his liver and life!

The walk: Sunday, June 1st, 2014. It is a family friendly event at the zoo. We have a Chinese raffle, food/beverage, kids zone and then we then go on a 1 mile walk around the zoo and end back at the starting point (pavilion) to hear the winners of the raffle.

To Walk with me and Aidan's Army: Click "Join Heathers Team." Registration begins at 7:30am with the pre-walk festivities and the walk begins around 9am. You are also to able stay (for free) and enjoy the zoo afterwards.

To Donate: Under the picture of Aidan click "Support Heather"
