Fundraising Honor Roll

The outstanding Lilianna Ray was born on September 9, 2008 healthy, happy and ready to thrive. Then, Lilianna became very ill. At just under one month of age she had a liver biopsy. Lilianna has a rare, life threatening liver disease called Biliary Atresia. Lilianna was diagnosed with B.A. on October 8, 2008 by Dr. Flake of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Flake, the number one surgeon in the Nation, performed the Kasai procedure and saved her liver. Lilianna's successful Kasai is a miraculous event that was made possible by the extensive research and continuing development of neonatal liver surgery.  Lilianna is not cured as there is no cure for Biliary Atresia. She is on a daily medication and we pray that she will beat the statistics and not need a liver transplant before she turns 18. Please help us support the medical field committed to resolving immediate threats to life and to find a cure for Biliary Atresia. All of my gratitude, Erika.
