Fundraising Honor Roll

Hi, my name is Gavin, I am 11 years old and I have a rare liver disease.  I am in the 5th grade at the Albert Hall school in Waterville, ME.  When I was 2 I started to get sick, but went undiagnosed and untreated until I was 4.  I was first diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis.  About a month later, in January 2008,  I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis, a rare liver disease that is uncurable.  Autoimmune hepatitis is when your own immune systerm attacks your liver.  I take daily medication, go for regular bloodwork, and get liver biopsies to regularly check my liver. This is my second year doing the Liver Life walk. Last year "Team Gavin" raised almost $2000. I am doing the walk because I want to raise money and awareness for other kids like me.  Please help me reach my goal and donate!  Join Team Gavin and walk with us or go to my page and click donate now.  If you would rather donate by cash or check, email my mom at!  Thank you so much:)

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of the 30 million Americans living with liver disease. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Liver Foundation provide community-based education and prevention programs, protect the rights of people with liver disease, and fund critical research.

By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!

Donating is easy! Just click the "Sponsor Me" button to get started!
