Fundraising Honor Roll

As a participant in the Liver Life Walk, I'm helping to move forward the fight against liver disease and I need your help!

I walk for my daughter, Delfina, who I find my strength in everyday on this journey of uncertainty. She warms our heart, and those of everyone she touches, with her smile & lively spirit. You would never know by looking at our sweet angel that she lives with a disease, biliary atresia, that affects 1 in every 15,000 babies. After many tests she was diagnosed on March 25th 2013 & on March 26th, at 54days old, she underwent an 8hr surgery to fix her non-functioning bile ducts. The amazing team at Columbia Presbyterian hospital, ourselves included, are optimistic at this time but Delfina lives a day to day battle. Taking medications, doctor visits & more tests Delfina continues to battle on, being an inspiration to so many of us.

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of the 30 million Americans living with liver disease. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Liver Foundation provide community-based education and prevention programs, protect the rights of people with liver disease, and fund critical research.

By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!

Thank you for supporting the Liver Life Walk Fairfield County on September 28, 2014!

The Liver Life Walk is a celebration of my commitment to a world free of liver disease. Please help me make that goal a reality! I support the American Liver Foundation® because it:

  • Provides education programs, support services, and outreach activities that reach more than 200,000 individuals annually and raise awareness on liver disease prevention and management.
  • Is the largest non-governmental supporter of liver disease research in the U.S. and since 1979, the American Liver Foundation Research Awards Program has provided more than $24 million to more than 750 qualified scientists and physicians.
