Fundraising Honor Roll

Thank you for your interest in supporting our team that my beautiful and energetic daughter Alicia put together in my honor to help raise money for the America Liver Foundation. I encourage you to join our team walk with us and donate what you can to help us exceed our goal, also tell a friend. This is my story if you did not see it on our team page. In October of 2013 I had successful liver resection surgery for HCC Hepatocellular Carcinoma. Up to then I was healthy having always taken care of myself. I never smoked, abused drugs or alcohol like I said i was in good health. A few months after surgery I was feeling better but then I started getting pains in my low back and ribs and the fatigue was back. Working with my fantastic doctor getting a bone scan and biopsy showed my liver cancer had metastasized to my bone. Now the fight is on I have to much to fight for and love life. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful person and my best friend Tracy. We have three children who are the pride and joys of our life, Alicia a sophomore in college, Michael Jr. A junior in High School and Peter looking forward to High School next year. The love, support and prayers of all my family And friends have given me tremendous strength to help me fight. All I ask of everyone is to pray for my family and I as we pray for all of you.
Respectfully submitted, Michael Napierkowski

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of the 30 million Americans living with liver disease. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Liver Foundation provide community-based education and prevention programs, protect the rights of people with liver disease, and fund critical research.

By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!
