Fundraising Honor Roll

The Pink Ladies is walking to honor our very dear friend, Lindsey Overson.

April 14, 1998, at age 19 Lindsey Overson was blessed with the gift of time when an anonymous donor provided the liver Lindsey so desperately needed.  At the time, the doctors had no clue why a healthy 19 year old liver would stop working especially since she had no previous liver issues. Unbeknownst to Lindsey, she had Wilson's Disease and her liver had slowly been dying since she was born.  After the transplant Lindsey thrived and made the most of those additional 16 years she was blessed with but, on April 21, 2014 at age 35, Lindsey earned her angel wings passing away due to liver failure.

Her transplant provided me, her family and other loved ones with the gift of more time.  Time we wouldn't have received without the medical advancements for liver disease and I want to raise money so others may be blessed with more time.

Lindsey loved the color pink and we plan to wear lots of pink be the most vibrant group walking!!!

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of the 30 million Americans living with liver disease. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Liver Foundation provide community-based education and prevention programs, protect the rights of people with liver disease, and fund critical research.

By making a donation you'll take me one step closer to my goal and take all of us another stride closer to a world free of liver disease!
