In 2007 my father, Tim Bradley, was diagnosed with Stage IV Liver Disease (Cirrhosis). He went through biopsy's, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI's, endless blood tests and even genetic testing to try and determine a cause for this disease. No answers were ever found. This horrible disease had done so much damage to so many of the organs in his body that he had nothing left to fight with and, with his family by his side, he passed away in April of this year. He made the best of his years before he died by spoiling his 10 grandchildren with candy, gifts, candy, special outings, candy, toys...did I mention candy?
So many people live day in and day out with Liver Disease. They probably have the same questions that we did, "How did this happen?", "What caused it?", "Could we have prevented it?". So many things were and still are unanswered. There needs to be more research and studies done to be sure that others do not have to go through the same trial that our family did. Please help support Team Bradley by raising money and awareness to find a cure for Liver Disease
