Why Run for Research?
The American Liver Foundation’s Run for Research program is the oldest marathon team in the Boston Athletic Association's Official Charity Program. For over two decades we have helped thousands of runners compete in the historic Boston Marathon® while raising funds for the fight against liver disease.
Over the past 26 years we have raised more than $17 million to support the American Liver Foundation's mission to facilitate, advocate, and promote education, support, and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. Join us this season as we work to meet our $1 million goal!
