Thank you for visiting my online fundraising page!
I've recently decided to go for it again and run this year's Boston Marathon---this time with a little more more than the 3 weeks of notice that I had last year (the Marathon is April 19). I will be running to help support a terrific charity, the American Liver foundation, in their fight against liver disease. We also have some fun marketing plans from a RunKeeper standpoint that we will disclose as it gets closer to race day. I am striving to raise $10,000 for the Liver Foundation, which won't be easy, but I am confident we can get done with your help! By making a donation, you'll be helping a terrific charity get one stride closer to a world free of liver disease! Your gift will go directly towards research, education, and advocacy to assist the 30 million people affected by liver disease in the United States.
Donating is easy! Just click the 'Click Here to Sponsor Me' button. Thanks everyone! I'll keep you posted on our progress.

Why Support the American Liver Foundation
- 30 million Americans - one in every 10 - are or have been affected by a liver, biliary, or gallbladder disease.
- Liver disease is the ninth leading disease related cause of death in the United States with more than 42,000 people dying each year.
- There are more than 100 types of liver disease, with hepatitis A, B, and C being the most common.
- Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, an obesity-related chronic liver disease, may affect as many as one in every four adults over the age of 18.
- Hepatitis B and C infection significantly increase the risk of liver cancer, one of the few cancers currently on the rise in the U.S.
Many forms of liver disease are preventable, and many more can be treated effectively if detected early. The Run for Research team is working towards a world free of liver disease. Please help me make that goal a reality!
