Fundraising Honor Roll

Welcome to our Keith, Deb and Renee's Run for Research fundraising page!

On April 21, 2014, Keith, Deb and Renee will be running the Boston Marathon.

Keith and Deb have been running the Boston Marathon with the Run for Research Team for the past four years and are eager to continue raising funds and awareness for the American Liver Foundation.

This year, we are proud to welcome our cousin, Renee Farnham, who has been a strong supporter and contributor to the American Liver Foundation in past years and will be joining us this year to run the Boston Marathon as a part of the Run for Research team.  Our family is always stronger together and this Boston Marathon run for the American Liver Foundation exemplifies that.

This year the three of us are raising the bar with a joint goal of raising $50,000 with our 2014 Boston Marathon.  This is a big goal, for a big race and most importantly, for a very important cause, the American Liver Foundation.

As a part of the Run for Research team, we have the opportunity to make a difference to those living with liver disease by running the Boston Marathon. This cause is personal for our family.  Several years ago, Keith was diagnosed with a rare liver disease known as Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, which decreases liver function and ultimately requires a liver transplant for survival. There is no cure.  Our experience has made us realize that there is so much to be done in the area of research, advocacy and awareness for liver disease and we know we can make a difference with the American Liver Foundation.

So here's the deal.  We will do the running on April 21, 2014 and we ask you to consider supporting us.  Together, we can make a difference in the fight against liver disease.

We respectfully ask for your support.  Any contribution, no matter the size, is appreciated greatly.  Every $ counts and we genuinely thank you for your support.  It means a lot to have friends and family standing behind us along the way to Boston!

Thank you for supporting the Run for Research 2014 on April 21, 2014!

The Run for Research is a celebration of my commitment to a world free of liver disease. Please help me make that goal a reality! I support the American Liver Foundation® because it:

  • Advocates on behalf of 30 million Americans with liver disease on the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Provides education programs, support services, and outreach activities that reach more than 200,000 individuals annually and raise awareness on liver disease prevention and management.
  • Is the largest non-governmental supporter of liver disease research in the U.S. and since 1979, the American Liver Foundation Research Awards Program has provided more than $24 million to more than 750 qualified scientists and physicians.
