Chris would like your help and support to help 30 million Americans affected with liver disease,

Like so many others I've had family members battle liver disease and lose their fight, so I've committed to not let their life be in vain!!  I've taken on the Liver Life Challenge for 444.8 miles to help make a difference and hopefully have a world free of liver disease!  The Liver Life Challenge is an endurance sport training program that helps people like me train for a race while supporting the mission of the American Liver Foundation.

My endurance events as a part of this challenge will be:

  • Marine Corps Marathon - October 27, 2013
  • Damn 6.2 mile swim - November 2, 2013
  • San Antonio Marathon - November 17, 2013 (DNF)
  • Bryan-College Station Marathon - December 8, 2013
  • HITS Running Festival (40 miles) - December 14, 2013
  • Ultraman Florida (6.2 mile swim, 261.4 mile bike, 52.4 mile run) - February 21-23, 2014
  • Boston Marathon - April 21, 2014

Every step and every mile I go, and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of more than 30 million Americans living with liver disease.

Did you know?

  • Liver cancer is one of the few primary cancers on the rise in the United States.
  • Approximately 5.4 million Americans are chronically infected with hepatitis B or hepatitis C. About 65% and 75% , respectively, are unaware that they are infected.
  • It is estimated that up to 25% of the U.S. population could have Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease--a condition that can lead to life-threatening damage.
  • Improving your diet, regular exercise and cutting alcohol are some of the best preventative ways against liver disease.

By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the Foundation provide community-based education, research, support, and advocacy related to help prevent and treat liver disease. Together we can make a difference and it's as simple as helping me reach my fundraising goal.

Donating is easy, every cent and dollar counts! Just click the "Donate" button to get started.  Please support me in my cause to help others.

Thank you, Go Liver!!
