Fundraising Honor Roll

Help me to help 30 million Americans living with Liver Disease...and support me as I run my first marathon!

A world free of liver disease! That is why I am participating in the Liver Life Challenge Run for Research Boston Marathon Program. The Run for Research Boston Marathon team is a part of the Liver Life Challenge, an endurance sport training program that supports my race training, while supporting the mission of the American Liver Foundation.

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a diference in the lives of more than 30 million Americans living with liver disease. I am running to honor my Aunt Susan's ongoing and courageous battle with Liver Disease. Her strength in living with Liver Disease has inspired me to join Run for Research on the journey from Hopkington to Boston.

Did you know:

  • Liver cancer is one of the few primary cancers on the rise in the United States.
  • Approximately Americans are chronically infected with hepatitis B or hepatitis C. About 65% and 75% of those infected are unaware, respectively
  • It is estimated that up to 25% of the U.S. population could have Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease--a condition that can lead to life-threatening damage.

By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the Foundation provide community-based education, research, support, and advocacy related to help prevent and treat liver disease. Together we can make a difference and it's as simple as helping me reach my fundraising goal.

I am new to long distance running and this race is going to be a challenge. As a native Bostonian (yes even after 2+ years in New York City I still call myself that!) I was shocked and saddened by the events of the 2013 Boston Marathon, and knowing that I will help the Boston Marathon come back stronger in 2014 is also helping drive me toward the finish line on Boylston Street. We are all Boston Strong, and any way you can help support my run this year is greatly appreciated by me personally, and the 30 million americans I aim to help find a cure through Run for Research.

Donating is easy! Just click the "Donate" button to get started.

Thank you so much for your support, every dollar makes a difference and I truly appreciate it!
