Fundraising Honor Roll

Please support me in my goal of completing the 2014 Boston Marathon while supporting the American Liver Foundation. Liver cancer is personal to me because my grandmother passed away in 2009 from this. She was one of the strongest people I ever knew and she was no match for liver cancer. I will be running in her memory.

Every step I take and every dollar I raise will make a difference in the lives of more than 30 million Americans living with liver disease.

By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the Foundation provide community-based education, research, support, and advocacy related to help prevent and treat liver disease. Together we can make a difference and it's as simple as helping me reach my fundraising goal.

Donating is easy! Just click the "Donate" button to get started. If your company offers a match, this is a great way to double a donation. Thank-you in advance for any help you're willing to send my way! :)

Thanks! Kelly

My Personal Web Log

I'm almost done with the financial commitment. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported me! :) I'm getting into the rough part of the training with the double digit long runs. Still all is well. I'm staying on track. No injuries. :)

37%! 141 days to go!
Thanks so much to those who have donated! i really appreciate it since i'm terrible at this part! i'd much rather run a double marathon! ;) hope everyone had a great tday! the first official team run is next sat am. since i'm not a great cold weather runner, this could be interesting. my backup is to run indoors on the treadmill (i've done 20 miles on it before! just gotta watch out for when it turns to 100 min b/c the belt stops abruptly! ;) )...

  • Provides education programs, support services, and outreach activities that reach more than 200,000 individuals annually and raise awareness on liver disease prevention and management.
  • Is the largest non-governmental supporter of liver disease research in the U.S. and since 1979, the American Liver Foundation Research Awards Program has provided more than $24 million to more than 750 qualified scientists and physicians.
