Fundraising Honor Roll

Dear Family & Friends,

Last year, I watched in horror the images of the bombings at the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon.   I knew immediately that I had to be there in 2014 to show my support for a sport that delivers so much joy to my life.

In April, I will be at the starting line of the Boston Marathon as a member of the American Liver Foundation’s Run for Research marathon team.  I will run to honor those impacted by the tragic events of the 2013 race and to serve those suffering from liver disease.

With every step taken and every dollar raised, you and I will contribute jointly to the betterment of the lives of more than 30 million Americans afflicted with liver disease.  Your donation on my behalf will assist the Foundation in providing community-based education, research, support, and advocacy.

My goal is to raise $4000.00 by March 15, 2014.  If you are able to contribute to this cause, you may mail to me (in the enclosed stamped envelope) a check payable to the American Liver Foundation, or go to my online fundraising page:

The Boston Marathon is on April 21, 2014 and will be my 17th marathon.  On that day, I will stand as one of the Boston Strong, in support of the city, the running community and, most importantly, Americans with liver disease.

In advance, I send my heartfelt gratitude for your generosity and for your encouraging thoughts and words.

Love,

Rachelle
